THE BRONX — A man was in stable condition after being shot in the head during a fight in Longwood Monday morning, police said.
The 32-year-old victim was fighting with the 31-year-old gunman inside 923 Kelly St. just after 2 a.m., an NYPD spokesman said. It wasn't immediately clear what sparked the dispute.
The victim was treated at Lincoln Medical Center, where he's listed in stable condition, police said.
The suspect, whose name wasn't immediately released, suffered a broken jaw in the fight. He was taken into custody at the hospital, an NYPD spokesman said. The suspect was also treated at at Lincoln Medical Center and is listed in stable condition, police said.
He was still awaiting formal charges late Monday morning, police said.
