WILLIAMSBURG — A masked thief cut a hole in the roof of a .99 cent store, lowered himself inside, then raided it, making off with $5240 worth of goods including, 12 sticks of deodorant, cash, electronics and medicine, according to police.

Police reviewed video of the incident, which took place at 3:17 a.m. July 29 inside 99 Cent Discount Market at 69 Graham Ave, hoping  to identify the perpetrator, but all they saw was a masked figure sneaking around the store, they said.

After pocketing 12 deodorants, several boxes of medicine, an iPad Air, a Sony Laptop and $3,000 cash, the thief climbed back up through the hole that he'd broken in the store's roof and disappeared into the night, police said.

A 27-year-old employee reported the incident to police the next day, police said.

As of Tuesday, no arrests had been made.
