SOHO — Nearly $12,000 worth of alcohol, mostly cases of champagne, were stolen from a SoHo wine store, police said.
Some 30 cases of pricey champagne Veuve Clicquot, Moet and Perrier Jouet, as well as 10 cases of vodka Grey Goose and were stolen from the basement storage space of Soho Wine and Spirits on July 19, police said.
The thief broke into the 461 W. Broadway underground space sometime after 8 p.m. on July 19. The next morning, police said, store employees found the basement door broken open and the alcohol missing.
Police are still investigating the burglary.
