LONG ISLAND CITY — Police are looking for a suspect who swiped an 80-year-old woman's purse from a building in Queens earlier this month.

The woman, believed to be between 20 and 30 years old, took the elderly woman's purse after it was left unattended on a table inside the LIC Art Center building at 44-02 23rd St. shortly after 12:30 p.m. on July 11, according to the NYPD.

The bag contained the victim's credit card and about $125 in cash, police said.

The suspect was captured on surveillance video wearing a black shirt, black shorts and white sneakers with pink shoelaces.
