FORT GREENE — You can catch the G train at the Fulton Street station — or some Pokémon before your daily commute.

Wild Pokémon are appearing all over Fort Greene — and every other corner of the city — following the launch of the new mobile game Pokémon GO earlier this month.

There are several PokéStops and gyms in the neighborhood where aspiring Pokémon trainers can catch the cartoon creatures.

Take a stroll through Fort Greene Park and battle a Wigglytuff or an Exeggutor at the gym located at the Prison Ship Martyr’s Monument. Or grab some pokéballs and other supplies at the two eagle statues by the monument, as well as the playgrounds on the south end of the park.

Head south toward Habana Outpost, where there’s a large cluster of Pokéstops including the German restaurant Black Forest, Cuyler Gore Park and the Fulton Street subway station.

You can usually find a lure at the Gen. Edward Fowler statue in Fowler Square, where you’ll see several Rattatas, Pidgeys, Doduos and the occasional Tangela.

Then battle a Magmar or a Vaporeon at the “Comandante Biggie” mural gym while sipping a frozen margarita at Habana To-Go

And if you’re catching a show at BAM or an event at the Barclays Center, you might as well try to catch a Taurus, which was spotted on the sidewalk nearby by a DNAinfo reader

Nearby PokéStops include Atlantic Terminal, the Hanson Place Central United Methodist Church and the BAM Fisher Building. If you’re looking for a battle, take on a Lapras and a Vaporeon at the Barclays Center, or a Flareon at the Atlantic Avenue Subway station.
