FLATBUSH — Police are investigating the death of a 50-year-old man found drunk with cuts on his head at a busy Flatbush intersection two weeks ago.

Julius Howard, 50, was taken to Kings County Hospital on May 19 after emergency workers found the man highly intoxicated at the corner of Nostrand and Foster avenues around 10:30 a.m., police said, about half a block from his New York Avenue apartment building.

At the hospital, staff found Howard had multiple bloody cuts on his head; he underwent treatment there for roughly 10 days before he died on Sunday around 4:30 p.m., the police department said.

It’s unclear what led to Howard’s death, police said. The Medical Examiner is investigating the incident and will determine a cause of death, the NYPD said.
