BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — Police are searching for two men who they say robbed a Bedford-Stuyvesant pharmacy at gunpoint and took off with cash and medication.

The suspects entered the Manipal Drugs store at 280 Nostrand Ave. near Lafayette Avenue around 12:30 p.m. on May 13, with one of them brandishing a gun, officials said.

One man put the weapon to the owner’s head and forced him and another employee to get down on the ground, according to the store owner, who declined to be named.

“I told them to take what they wanted. I’ve been here 18 years and nothing like that happened before,” he said.

The robbers took cellphones and cash from the two workers’ wallets, the owner said, and also fled with bottles of medication, including Percocet.

One of the suspects was last seen wearing a gray hoodie with black sweatpants and a black winter hat, according to police, and the other man was last seen with a black du-rag, a black and gray hoodie, black sweatpants, and white sneakers.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
