LOWER EAST SIDE — Police arrested four men they believe are members of the Bloods gang on May 14 after the defendants were found with a stash of guns and ammunition, according to authorities.

Police observed 21-year-old Lalique Mazyck, 26-year-old Christopher Walker, 27-year-old Clayton Givens and a 19-year-old man sitting in a gray GMC Yukon with a broken taillight at the northwest corner of Madison and Rutgers streets at around 8:25 p.m., according to a police report.

The defendants had an open bottle of Patron tequila in the car, and the odor of marijuana emanated from the vehicle, according to a police report.

Upon further investigation, the defendants were allegedly found to be in possession of an AP-9 pistol and a 9-millimeter Luger pistol, as well as two high-capacity magazines and 14 rounds of ammunition, police said.

Police believe the defendants are affiliated with the Bloods gang, according to a police report.

The men were charged with criminal possession of a weapon, according to authorities.

Charges against the 19-year-old were later dropped and the case was sealed, according to prosecutors.

Givens’ lawyer declined to comment.

Information on attorneys representing Mazyck and Walker was not immediately available.
