CRIME BLOTTER: Workers Slashed at East Flatbush Fried Chicken Restaurant

EAST FLATBUSH — A woman cut two workers at a Crown Fried Chicken restaurant in the neighborhood Sunday after they refused to give her free food, police said.

The woman, approximately 22 years old, came into the fried chicken eatery at 580 Albany Ave. around 2 a.m., police said, and demanded free food from workers.

One of the Crown Fried Chicken workers, a 27-year-old man, refused her request and told the woman to leave. In response, she took out a kitchen knife, lunged at the worker and cut his left wrist.

She then turned on a second worker, a 28-year-old man who was working at the back of the restaurant, and cut his chest with the knife, police said.

As she was leaving the restaurant, she pushed objects off the eatery’s glass counter, breaking them. She then ran, police said.

Both workers were treated for minor lacerations during the incident. The woman has yet to be identified or arrested.
