UPPER WEST SIDE — Five women knocked another woman to the ground to steal her purse before using her credit cards to run up charges at local drugstores, police said.

The five suspects approached the 27-year-old victim, who was walking along West End Avenue at West 75th Street, and shoved her to the ground to steal her purse around 11:10 p.m. Saturday, police said.

The woman's black Coach purse contained a Michael Kors wallet with debit and credit cards, as well as an iPhone 6 and a set of keys, police said.

The woman suffered pain and bruising on her face, elbow and foot, but did not get taken to the hospital, police said.

Her credit cards were later used to make purchases at Duane Reade stores on Broadway and West 94th Street and Broadway and West 103rd Street, police said.

Details about what was charged to the cards and when the charges were made were not available, police said.
