QUEENS — Three men were arrested in Arverne on Friday for manufacturing fraudulent credit cards, police announced Tuesday.
Police arrested Leon Johnson, 25, Tremaine Woods, 42, and Ronald Manifold, 26 in Johnson’s home at 334 Beach 56 St. at around 6:15 a.m. on April 22.
The officers who took the three men into custody found a stash of fake credit cards, a loaded .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun and a substance they believe to be marijuana, police said.
Johnson, Woods and Manifold each face 87 counts of possession of a forged instrument, according to the NYPD. Johnson and Manifold were also charged with criminal possession of a weapon, and Woods was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
The arrests were part of an ongoing investigation into a fraudulent credit card manufacturing scheme, police said.
