FINANCIAL DISTRICT — A woman eating at fast-casual soup chain Hale and Hearty had $2,000 stolen from her bag, police said.
The 31-year-old victim said she had the cash in her bag, but someone snatched it out of her purse while she was inside the 110 Maiden Lane eatery at 3:30 p.m on April 15, according to a police report.
Police were still investigating the incident.
