QUEENS — A woman was critically injured after being struck by a school bus while crossing a Maspeth Street Monday morning, police said.
The unidentified 32-year-old woman was crossing Grand Avenue, near 74th Street, when she was struck by the yellow bus about 9:20 a.m., police and fire officials said.
She was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition with head trauma.
The driver remained on scene and hadn’t been charged as of Monday afternoon, police said.
The NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad was on scene.
