THE BRONX — Police arrested a razor-wielding man they say threatened passengers on a 4 train at Yankee Stadium Tuesday night.

Wayne Davis, 60, was holding a razor in his right hand while cursing and asking commuters for money on the southbound 4, according to police.

Passengers called 911 and responding officers boarded the train at the Yankee Stadium stop and arrested Davis, police said. The story was first reported by the New York Daily News.

Police also found a crack pipe in his possession after taking Davis into custody, the spokesman added.

Davis, who police said has “a lot” of prior arrests, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, menacing and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

He was expected to be arraigned in Bronx Criminal court Wednesday night.
