BROOKLYN — A man was fatally shot in the head during a double shooting in East Flatbush on Monday night, police said.
Gary Walker, 33, was in front of a home at 219 E. 56th St., near Church Avenue, with a friend around 6:50 p.m. when someone opened fire on them, NYPD officials said.
Walker, who lived in Crown Heights, was hit in the head and pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital, police said.
The other man, 31, whose name was not immediately released, was hit in the back and treated at Kings County Hospital, where he's listed in critical condition, police said.
Police were still searching for the suspect, a man who was seen wearing a red bandana.
