NEW SPRINGVILLE — Thieves stole 200 pairs of underwear in two days from the Victoria's Secret in the Staten Island Mall last month, police said.
A man and a woman first walked into the Victoria's Secret inside the mall on Jan. 1 at 12:15 p.m. and the man took 80 pairs of underwear, worth $1,000, while the woman acted as a lookout, according to the NYPD.
On Jan. 16, the pair walked into the store again at 12:30 p.m. and they both swiped 120 pairs of underwear, worth $1,500, stuffing them into shopping bags and a purse, according to police and security camera footage.
