GREENWOOD HEIGHTS — An unaccompanied handcuffed man walked into the NYPD's 72nd Precinct Wednesday, but he wasn't an escaped prisoner.

“He cuffed himself playing and can’t find the key,” a police source said.

The man had jammed the keyhole on the handcuffs, and turned to the officers at the precinct at 830 Fourth Ave. for help around 4:30 p.m. The handcuffs had to be cut off by members of an emergency services unit, a source said.

The NYPD did not have further information about the incident as of Wednesday evening.
