This new Cambodian restaurant offers traditional fare, like curries, noodles, barbecue and fish-based dishes, like grilled amok — fish stuffed with prawns, scallops, and lemongrass wrapped with a banana leaf and topped with red curry sauce. Have a hankering for something spicy? There are several hot items on the menu, from Khmer sweet and sour soup to red, green and yellow curries, among others. Angkor also has a lunch prix fixe menu every day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Artisanal French bakery Maison Kayser brings its baguettes to Brooklyn with a new location at 57 Court Street. Sit down for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or just stop by for some sweets from the counter, like chocolate croissants, palmiers and eclairs.

Family-owned Surya returned to the Village at the end of last year after being pushed out by rising rents. Earlier this month, they launched 'Indian Cocktail Hour,' which runs from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. every day, and includes $6 handcrafted cocktails, $5 beers and $5 house red and white wines. The cocktail menu includes Desi Rum Punch, spiced with Chaat Masala, and the Indian Rose, garnished with real rose petals, and the beer selection has some Indian options such as 1947 Lager and King Fischer. Happy hour prices are only available at the bar, so guests seeking the deal are advised to arrive early to snag a seat.
