EAST FLATBUSH — A 31-year-old woman who went missing from a city-run psychiatric hospital center before this weekend’s historic blizzard has not yet been found, police said.

Anna Sharpe, 31, was last seen leaving 410 Winthrop St. at Kings County Hospital, which is run by the city's Health + Hospitals, shortly after 9:00 a.m. on Friday.

Sources said at the time of her disappearance, she had been receiving voluntary psychiatric care at the complex. It was unclear whether Sharpe was allowed to leave the hospital of her own volition at the time of her disappearance.

Citing patient confidentiality rules, the hospital would not comment on her disappearance.

Sharpe was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, dark colored knit cap, jeans and white shoes, police said. She is five feet, four inches tall and approximately 120 pounds.

The police department released a photo of Sharpe wearing a jean jacket on Sunday.

Anyone with information in regards to Sharpe’s whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
