Affordable Bronx Apartments Up for Grabs Starting at $769 a Month

THE BRONX — There are 34 affordable apartments still on the market in the borough, though  application deadlines are coming up soon.

The available units include recently renovated one-bedrooms for just $769 a month, and two-bedrooms in another building — with laundry, and heat and hot water included — for just over $1,000 a month.

127-131 West 170th Street, Highbridge: 15 newly renovated units
Number of one-bedroom units available: three with a monthly rent of $769
Number of two-bedroom units available: five with a monthly rent of $929, and seven with a monthly rent of $1060
Rents include cooking gas
Special building features: Security cameras and key fob entry system.
Deadline: Jan. 27, 2016

1035 Anderson Ave., Highbridge: 11 newly constructed units
Number of one-bedroom units available: five for a monthly rent of $1,274
Number of two-bedroom units available: six for a monthly rent of $1,434
Rents includes heat and hot water
Special building features: Laundry and security cameras
Deadline: Feb. 3, 2016
