The Special Victims Unit is on the case again this week.
NBC’s “Law & Order: SVU” will continue filming scenes for season 17 Tuesday in Brooklyn, blocking several streets in the process, according to City Councilwoman Laurie Cumbo.
Actors dressed in NYPD uniforms will once again be questioning witnesses at a fictional crime scene outside and inside 196 Clinton Ave., between Myrtle and Willoughby Avenues, in Clinton Hill.
Ambulances and patrol cars with flashing lights will respond to the discovery of a fictional victim.
The shoot will then move through Prospect Heights, Park Slope and Gowanus as SVU detectives follow and question suspects.
The actors will be in uniform questioning suspects on the plaza at 4th Avenue between Atlantic and Flatbush Avenues, next to Atlantic Terminal and the Barclays Center.
They’ll follow suspects down 4th Avenue, between Atlantic Avenue and Pacific Street, then down Pacific Street between 3rd and 4th avenues.
Later they’ll be canvassing 3rd Avenue, between Douglass and Degraw streets, where they’ll spot a suspect driving away in an SUV.
The investigation will lead them to the Pacific Branch of the Brooklyn Public Library, where SVU detectives will take down a suspect. Actors in NYPD uniforms will have their guns drawn as they arrest the perp.
A spokeswoman for “Law & Order: SVU” did not confirm which actors would be at the shoot, but said the episode called “Forty-One Witnesses” would air Feb. 3 at 9 p.m.
Drivers will be unable to park in the following locations starting Monday at 10 p.m. through the end of the shoot Tuesday at 8 p.m.:
► East and west sides of Clinton Avenue between Myrtle and Willoughby avenues
► North and south sides of Myrtle Avenue between Clermont and Waverly avenues
► North and south sides of State Street between 3rd and Flatbush avenues
► North and south sides of Pacific Street between 3rd and Flatbush avenues
► East and west sides of 4th Avenue between Warren and Bergen Streets
► North side of Bergen street between 4th and 5th Avenues
► North and south side of Degraw Street between Nevins Street and 4th Avenue
► West side of 3rd Avenue between Douglass and Degraw streets
► North and south sides of Sackett Street between Nevins Street and 3rd Avenue
► East side of 3rd Avenue between Degraw Street and Sackett Street
