29 Affordable Units Offered in Bushwick, Williamsburg and East New York

Real Affordability for All

BUSHWICK — Applications for 29 affordable apartments renting for between $788 and $1,323 in Bushwick, Williamsburg, East New York and East Flatbush are being accepted by the city.

Applications can be submitted online or by mail and are due on Feb. 4.

The apartments will be scattered at seven different locations, according to the city's Department for Housing Preservation and Development.

Four apartments will be available at 717 Flushing Ave in Williamsburg. In Bushwick, six units are opening up at 76 Grove St., three at 663 Willoughby Ave. and six at 275 Menahan St.

Six apartments will be available in East New York at 877 Dumont Ave.

Eight units will open up at 160 Glenmore Ave. in Brownsville and six units will be available at 178 Rockaway Parkway in East Flatbush.

Among the apartments are 19 studios and one bedrooms which will be rented to single residents who earn up to $36,300 and couples making up to $41,460. Studios will rent for $788 while one bedrooms will cost $847 a month.

Four two-bedroom apartments are available at monthly rents of $836 for households earning a maximum of $43,150 and $1,025 for families earning up to $51,780.

Five three-bedroom apartments will rent for $1,182 for families earning up to $60,120.

Lastly, a four bedroom home is being offered to large households earning up to $68,400. Rent for those will be $1,323 a month.
