HARLEM — The teenagers who have terrorized residents of the Jackie Robinson Houses by kicking their doors are meeting with the NYPD, NYCHA and their parents, DNAinfo New York has learned.

“They are going to sit down with the kids and their parents to make sure it doesn’t happen again,” NYPD spokeswoman Officer Sophia Mason said.

The police will also work with the local community center to find something for the teens to do with their free time, she added.

NYCHA officials were able to identify some of the teens Wednesday after seeing a video of them kicking at a door at 111 E. 128th St.

A resident decided to start filming the hallway after complaints to PSA 5 and NYCHA didn’t yield results. He is withholding his name to protect his family from any potential retribution.

An officer from PSA 5 visited the tenant’s apartment Wednesday to inform him of the meeting between the teens, the police and the Housing Authority.

“Just having the police involved, it’s a big big plus,” the tenant said “I was not getting anywhere with them I wasn’t getting anywhere with management so kudos to [DNAInfo New York].”

The date of the meeting has not been set but it is expected to happen soon, police said.
