HELL’S KITCHEN — A drunk drug addict has repeatedly attacked his wife, violating orders of protection and punching, shoving and slapping her on multiple occasions inside her West 49th Street apartment, according to police and prosecutors.

The man, 39, was arrested for a sixth time this year on Nov. 19, two days after he followed his wife into her apartment building at 2 a.m., pushed her to the ground, and punched and slapped her head, according to police.

He showed up drunk the next day at 4 a.m., argued with her then passed out, police said.

When he finally left the apartment at around 2:30 p.m., she called the police.

So far this year he has six arrests, five for violating orders of protection and three involving violence, according to police records.

The man, a New Jersey resident, has had trouble with the NYPD stemming back to 2011, when he was picked up for driving without a license in possession of a crack pipe and two bags of crack cocaine, according to police records.

In October of 2012, the woman tried to kick him out of her Hell’s Kitchen apartment because of his drug use, police said.

She called the police and when they arrived, he had ransacked the apartment and fled out the back exit of the building, jumping over a fence in the courtyard, police said.

Officers searched the area and found him in a nearby building, hiding under a carpet, police said.

They struggled to cuff the belligerent man, who fought them, police said. He injured one officer’s left eye when he slammed the man’s body and face against a wall of hooks, police said.

In that incident, officers confiscated a crack pipe, police said.

His lawyer could not immediately be reached for comment.

He is currently being held at Manhattan Detention Complex on $25,000 bail.

He’s due back in court on Wednesday, Nov. 2, according to court records.
