EAST HARLEM — Health inspectors shut down 2 Bros Pizza after finding evidence of mice inside the dollar slice joint on 125th Street.

During their visit, inspectors found that the facility was not vermin proof and that staffers were not using pesticide properly. Employees were also using and storing a “prohibited chemical” and laying open bait traps, records show.

The takeout place at 113 E. 125th St., near Park Avenue, was closed down by the Health Department Friday and remained closed Tuesday afternoon.

An employee at the pizzeria said the restaurant is currently being renovated, but said there was no timetable for its reopening date.
