GRYMES HILL — A man stole a wallet from a Staten Island woman — and then used her credit card to buy himself an electric heater at the Home Depot, police said.

The 34-year-old woman reported her wallet — with $50 cash and a credit card inside — missing to police at about 1 p.m. on Nov. 4, the NYPD said.

A half-hour later, the suspect was caught on video using the stolen credit card to buy an electric heater from the Home Depot at 545 Targee St., police said.

The suspect was described by police as being between 20 and 30 years old with short dark hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, light colored pants and brown shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
