BROOKLYN — Two men were injured, one critically, after a shooting at a Bed-Stuy subway station Tuesday evening, according to officials and witnesses.

Surveillance video showed a man following the 27-year-old victim into the Utica Avenue A-C station before opening fire on the steps and striking him three times in the back, according to sources. A fourth bullet hit a 34-year-old bystander in the stomach on the mezzanine level, officials and sources said.

The suspected shooter was then seen fleeing the station up Malcolm X Boulevard, according to sources.

Chaka Parker, 35, was walking with her daughter to the store when she heard several gunshots and then saw a man who appeared to be shot.

"When I went to the train area I saw a guy lying at the staircase in his blood," Parker said. "The shooter blended in with all of that, you couldn't tell who was shooting."

The mother said she was in "shock" after the incident.

"I'm nervous about living in the area. The violence is getting worse, the ability to get a gun," Parker said. "To be with your child and witness something like that."

The two men were taken to Kings County Hospital, according to the FDNY.

The 27-year-old victim has a criminal history, including arrests for robbery and assault.

The area is a transportation hub, with the subway station and several bus lines at the intersection, and is across the street from Boys and Girls High School.
