CHELSEA — Ain't no quaint, country living here.

A pop country band got nearly $5,000 worth of gear stolen from the tour bus they'd left unlocked while playing a show at the Highline Ballroom on Oct. 23, according to police.

A 29-year-old band member of Green River Ordinance emerged from the venue at 431 W. 16th St. around 10:30 p.m. after the show to find that the charter bus had been raided, according to police and a witness.

The thief made off with a MacBook Pro, an iPhone, a Nintendo and games, a hard drive and memory card, an iPod and a Pendleton wool scarf, items that added up to $4,450, police said.

Green River Ordinance, from Fort Worth, Texas, headlined the evening, joined by two openers: The Last Bison and Sean McConnell. A member of The Last Bison confirmed that the headliners had been the victims of the crime, though Green River Ordinance did not respond to a request for comment immediately.

A spokeswoman for the Highline Ballroom did not return a request for immediate comment.
