FINANCIAL DISTRICT  — A workout studio that promises long, lean muscles with the help of some ballet moves is getting ready to open its first Financial District location.

Physique 57, a fitness studio with a dedicated following, is slated to open at 55 Broadway in January, its fourth Manhattan location, the company announced.

The studio offers up 57-minute workouts that combine ballet, pilates, strength training and cardio exercise.

Physique 57 joins a growing number of boutique fitness studios opening up Downtown. Recent additions include ChaiseFitness, BFX studio, and another other popular barre studio, Pure Barre.

Co-founder Jennifer Vaughan Maanavi told Well + Good that she sees FiDi as an up and coming center for boutique workouts.

“We really believe FiDi is the next hot fitness spot,” she said. “There are so many businesses moving down there, but there’s so much more room for fitness.”

Individual classes start at $36, but package deals are available as well.
