LOWER MANHATTAN — These students are taking their education to new heights.

Pace University celebrated the opening of its newest dorm, a soaring 34-story tower that the university says is the "world's tallest college residence."

The sleek building, at 33 Beekman St., is now home to 770 upper classmen, the university said.

The residence, which sits a block away from Pace's main academic center at One Pace Plaza, features a variety of amenities, including three student lounges, a fitness center — and some fantastic views.

Students are mostly doubled up in each of the dorm rooms.

There's also a 3,000 square-foot plaza outside the building meant for student and public use.

“Our new residence hall at 33 Beekman Street is a transformative addition to our campus, a potent symbol of the new Pace University in New York and a reminder to all that Pace is a vibrant presence in lower Manhattan,” said Pace University President Stephen Friedman in a statement. “Thousands of young men and women will live and work in this building and discover the true meaning of Pace’s motto: Opportunitas.”
