BROOKLYN — A man was fatally shot in a Flatbush drive-by early Wednesday, police said.

Marvin Pippen, 25, was double-parked in a car with his ex-girlfriend outside 165 E. 19th St., near Beverly Road, about 1:47 a.m., when a dark car pulled up, an NYPD spokesman said.

The driver struck up a conversation with Pippen before his passenger pulled out a gun and shot him dead, police said.

"I heard it and got so scared. It sounded like it was in the building," said Diane Curtis, who's lived across the street from the shooting scene for 11 years.

The driver and gunman fled the scene, the spokesman said, and Pippen was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital. His ex-girlfriend was not hurt.

There were no immediate arrests, police said.
