UPPER WEST SIDE — A man participating in an outdoor fitness class in Riverside Park had his phone and more than $1,000 in cash stolen as he worked out, police said.

The 30-year-old left his things on the ground during a group cross-training class inside the park park near West 72nd Street on Sept. 30, police said.

When the class finished around 7 p.m., he discovered his Citi Bank credit card, a Boost mobile phone and $1,040 in cash had been taken, police said.

Police did not have a description of a suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
