UPPER EAST SIDE — P.S. 77, the Lower Lab School, took home the top ranking in District 2 and on the Upper East Side for both tests, according to an analysis of the 2015 test results by DNAinfo New York.

The 1700 Third Ave. elementary school, which offers a gifted and talented program, ranked third in the city for its English Language Arts test scores, with roughly 93 percent of its fourth graders passing the test in the past school year, data shows.

Nearly 95 percent of its students passed the math test, ranking it sixth in the city for its math scores.

P.S. 158, the Bayard Taylor School, wasn't far behind — 82.2 percent of its fourth graders passed the English Language Arts test and 90.7 percent passed the math test, ranking it 11th in the city in both categories.

Overall, test scores varied across the Upper East Side with some hitting low on the list, like the Ella Baker School, where only 30 percent of students passed the ELA test and 45 percent of students passed the math test, ranking it 317th and 257th in the city, respectively.

DNAinfo New York created an interactive map that looked at performance for fourth grade test results, which often factor heavily into students' middle school admissions. Click below to see how your school did.
