BROOKLYN — The second person found dead in the rubble of the Borough Park building explosion has been officially identified as Francisca Figueroa, the Chief Medical Examiner announced Thursday.

Officials found Figueroa, 47, who also went by the first name "Franchezka" on Monday, two days after the building exploded. She had been evicted from her second floor apartment and may have sparked the blast after igniting chemicals from her beauty salon in an attempt to commit suicide, according to sources.

The mother of three had posted suicidal thoughts days before the Saturday blast and texted “Sorry, I love you” to her son and daughter before the explosion.

She was struggling financially, family members said, and had been working seven days a week to support her business.

Her neighbor, Ligia Puello, 64, was also killed in the blast.

Investigators are still working to officially determine the cause of the explosion.
