Man Steals More Than $1K in Allergy Meds From FiDi Duane Reade, Police Say

LOWER MANHATTAN — A shoplifter swiped more than $1,000 worth of allergy medications from Duane Reade last week, police said.

The man quickly grabbed 33 boxes of Claritin, Allegra and Zyrtec, worth a total of $1,176, from the shelves of the 67 Broad St. store on Sunday at 2:15 p.m.. and ran out, police said.
