FINANCIAL DISTRICT — That was an expensive trip to Starbucks.
A 34-year-old Brooklyn man had his wallet — which contained $1,060 — stolen after buying a coffee at the chain's 291 Broadway location on Sunday, at about 11:30 a.m, police said.
The man bought a drink at the coffee shop, and when he walked out, realized his wallet was missing, according to a police report.
Police were still investigating the event.
