PARK SLOPE — The bar where customers could polish their nails while polishing off cocktails has closed its Brooklyn location.

Beauty Bar, the chain that serves up manicures and martinis at half a dozen locations nationwide, shuttered its 249 Fifth Ave. outpost Aug. 31, Gothamist first reported.

The original Beauty Bar opened in 1995 in a former salon on 14th Street in Manhattan. The mini chain now has locations in Las Vegas, San Francisco, Chicago and Dallas. A Denver Beauty Bar closed in March 2015.

Beauty Bar ventured into Brooklyn in 2009 with a location in Bushwick. That closed in 2011 and moved to Park Slope in 2012.

Owner Paul Devitt told DNAinfo New York then that he hoped to serve "aging hipsters" with kids who would get a babysitter for a night out at Beauty Bar.

Beauty Bar representatives could not be reached for comment Friday.
