MIDTOWN — Plan ahead on your way to the West Indian Day Parade this Labor Day; the MTA is closing subway stops along the route.

The Eastern Parkway-Brooklyn Museum 2, 3 and 4 train station will be closed from noon to 7 p.m. Monday, and 4 trains will run local in Brooklyn for the afternoon, officials said.

The Church Avenue 2 train station will also be shut down from 2 a.m.-8 a.m. Monday, the MTA said.

At the Crown Heights-Utica Avenue stop, certain staircases will be designated for entering and exiting.

All other subway lines are slated to run on a weekend schedule, the MTA said.

On Friday, MetroNorth will offer 17 extra trains leaving from Grand Central, while the LIRR will make 10 additional trains available from Penn Station for the afternoon rush.

The MTA is also planning to increase Friday afternoon service along the Staten Island Railway.
