HELLS KITCHEN — "Good Wife" actor Dylan Baker played a walk-on role in a real life drama on Tuesday afternoon when a blaze erupted in his next door neighbor's apartment, according to reports.

The actor, who's known for his supporting roles in Selma, Anchorman 2 and Spiderman 2 and 3, had just returned home on the thirty-third floor of 484 W. 43rd St. when flames erupted from the apartment of the woman who lives next door, according to reports.

"When I opened the door, it was a full-fledged fire," Baker told NBC New York. "It was terrifying."

Firefighters responded to a call for help just after 4:30 p.m to Baker's apartment building on 43rd and 10th Avenue, according to FDNY officials and reports.

They battled the blaze until 5:45 p.m. and took the woman to the hospital, fire officials said.

Baker told NBC that he tried to find his neighbor before fleeing the building.

"I banged on the door and shouted her name. I opened her door... there were flames everywhere, and smoke was coming out at me so I had to slam the door," he said told the news station. "I yelled again, I didn't hear anything. So we got the heck out."

Firefighters found the woman unconscious on the floor of her smoke-filled apartment, according to NBC reports.

The FDNY could not confirm her condition.
