MIDTOWN — A quiet place is coming to one of the city's busiest train stations.

With summer vacations ending and school starting, Grand Central returns to its normal state of rushed crowds and long lines for coffee.

Fall can be a stressful time for Grand Central's 750,000 daily commuters, but on Sept. 29, the station will transform into "Grand Zentral," offering six free yoga classes guided by instructors from Manhattan's Pure Yoga studios.

Sessions will last for 60 minutes and will focus on the Vinyasa flow sequence, which is designed to build strength and flexibility. The classes will be free of charge, but pre-registration is required. Among freebies included in the deal, participants will receive a mat.

The yoga event will take place in Vanderbilt Hall and registration will open soon at Grand Central's website.
