QUEENS — Rapper and actor LL Cool J is returning to Jamaica where he grew up to host a back-to-school giveaway this Sunday, the organizers said.

Some 1,600 kids will receive backpacks filled with school supplies for the year during the World Star Hip Hop's 3rd annual giveaway, which will be held at the Jamaica Colosseum Mall on 165th Street.

Hip-hop artist Fabolous and MC Erick Sermon will also take on hosting duties during the event organized by the popular video website.

There will be a special performance by teen singer Jayla Marie.

The giveaway seeks to help “hundreds of underprivileged children and their families” in the area, the organizers said.

The website founder, Lee “Q” O’Denat, who also hails from Jamaica, never finished high school, but by holding the giveaway he hopes to encourage local children to stay in school, the organizers said.

The World Star Hip Hop Foundation, the philanthropic branch of the company, selects needy kids by conducting outreach in the area.

The organizers will also have other prizes for children, including tickets to see the New York Mets, iPads, eReaders and gift cards from Barnes & Noble, Target and Amazon.

LL Cool J also hosted the event last year, along with French Montana. The year before, it was presented by Jim Jones.

The World Star Hip Hop's 3rd annual giveaway will take place at The Jamaica Colosseum at 89-02 165th St. at 2 p.m. The event will last about two hours.
