EAST WILLIAMSBURG — A food delivery man was attacked with a tree branch in a robbery over his phone, police said.
The 28-year-old victim was calling a customer for a delivery on Maujer Street near Bushwick Avenue on roughly 9:25 p.m. on Aug. 18, when a man started hitting him with a tree branch, police said.
The man then grabbed the $550 Samsung Note 3 from the victim's hand, and fled, police said.
Police are investigating the incident.
