Police Searching For Burglars Who Stole $10K from 2 TriBeCa Eateries

TRIBECA — Police are searching for two burglars who stole more than $10,000 in cash, and three bottles of alcohol worth a total of $505, from Mexican restaurant Dahlia’s, as well as $300 from Irish bar Lilly O'Briens' — in the same night.

The thieves broke into Dahlia's, at 353 Greenwich St., sometime between 1 and 7 a.m., and grabbed $10,040 from a basement office, on July 17.

Police said three bottles of liquor, including $170 of Johnny Walker Blue Label, and two bottles of tequila worth a total of $235, were also taken from the office.

The thieves also stole $300 from 18 Murray St. bar Lilly O'Briens', after it closed — between 4:55 and 5:10 a.m.
