EAST HARLEM — “I don’t f-----g have nothing,” a man suspected of shoplifting 40 12-ounce cans of Red Bull from a local 7-Eleven told employees who questioned him as he fled the store, police said.
The theft, which added up to $147 worth of the energy drink, occurred at 2256 Second Ave. on July 29 about 12:30 p.m., according to the NYPD.
An employee at 7-Eleven declined to comment on the theft and referred all questions to the company's corporate office. The corporate spokesman did not immediately respond.
