EAST VILLAGE — An off-duty MTA conductor was arrested early Monday after he got into a fight with a 24-year-old woman on a city bus, police said.

David Rodriguez got into an argument with Triana Acosta at 3:16 a.m. as the bus rolled through the NYPD's Ninth Precinct, which covers the East Village and NoHo, police said. It was unclear which bus line they were on.

The fight then turned physical, with Rodriguez and Acosta hitting and scratching each other, according to an NYPD spokesman. Neither were seriously injured.

Rodriguez was charged with assault, police said.
