Sunset Rooftop Yoga

Where: Z Hotel, 11-01 43rd Ave., Long Island City
When: 7:30 p.m.

The Z Hotel is offering yoga classes on its rooftop every other Monday this summer. One hours classes start at 7:30 p.m., and are followed by “skinny” cocktails and snacks for $35. Space is limited. Call 212-319-7000 to reserve a spot.

Dance Fitness Under the Trees

Where: First Quincy Street Green Thumb Garden, 397 Quincy St., Bed-Stuy
When:
6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Sweat to a beat and become one with nature during this weekly Monday dance class at one of Bed-Stuy’s local community gardens. All ages are welcome, just be sure to bring your own water and towel. Tickets are $10.

“Bayside! The Musical”

Where: Theatre 80, 80 St. Marks Place, East Village
When: 8 p.m.

Catch “Bayside! The Musical” before it ends its run at Theatre 80 on Aug. 8. The “unauthorized musical parody” contains plenty of fun for fans of the original TV show "Saved By the Bell" and anyone still missing the '90s. Tickets start at $25.

New York Foundation for the Arts 30th Anniversary Reading

Where: WORD bookstore, 126 Franklin St., Greenpoint
When: 7 p.m.

New York Foundation for the Arts, an organization that gives out cash grants to artists, is celebrating 30 years with a gathering of some of its past fellows in Greenpoint. Writers including Luc Sante, Amanda Stern, Donna Masini and Deanna Fei — all previous recipients of cash rewards from the foundation — will be there doing readings.

Live at the Gantries with Saron Crenshaw

Where: Gantry Plaza State Park, Long Island City
When: 7 p.m.

Blues musician Saron Crenshaw will perform as part of this weekly outdoor concert series in the park. The show is free and starts at 7 p.m.

Annual Great Lawn Summer Concert

Where: St. John’s University Great Lawn, 80-00 Utopia Parkway, Jamaica
When: 7 p.m.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy Broadway classics during a free summer concert performed by The Queens Symphony Orchestra. The event will take place on the St. John’s University’s Great Lawn.

Summer Movie Night Uptown

Where: Swindler’s Cove at Dyckman Street and Harlem River Drive
Time: Cartoon before feature will begin between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.

The New York Restoration Project will present "How to Train Your Dragon 2" at Swindler’s Cove, a former illegal dumping site that has been transformed into a waterfront green space complete with a children’s garden. Hot popcorn will be provided.

Minimus 3D Arkestra

Where: 13th St. Repertory Theater, 50 West 13th St., Greenwich Village
When: 8 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday

This week is your last chance to catch this 55-minute improv acoustic and electronic music performance by a jazz saxophonist in front of a backdrop of 3-D and time-lapse video clips — created by a 3-D director and holography artist — from iconic and breathtaking locations around the world, from the NYC subway system to the Aurora Borealis as seen in the Canadian Northwest. Tickets are $18.

Outdoor Cinema at Socrates Sculpture Park

The park will screen the documentary “Kings of the Wind & Electric Queens,” which chronicles the Sonepur Fair in India.

Watch “Beasts of the Southern Wild” in Riverside Park

Where: Riverside Park at Pier I at West 72nd Street, Upper West Side
When: 8 to 11 p.m.

As part of its Summer on the Hudson series, Riverside Park will screen “Beasts of the Southern Wild,” the Oscar-nominated indie hit set in New Orleans.

Living Landmarks Exhibition, “Unearthing a Forgotten African-American Community.”

Where: Arsenal Gallery, 830 Fifth Ave., third floor, Upper East Side
When: 6 to 8 p.m.

New York City’s Parks’ Art and Antiquities will host a free lecture on Seneca Village and Central Park with Cynthia Copeland of New York University.

Thursday, July 30

R&B Festival at MetroTech 2015, Theo Croker

Where: MetroTech Commons, 10 MetroTech Roadway, Bed-Stuy
When: noon to 1:30 p.m.

Take a break during your lunch hour with the tunes of Theo Croker, grandson of jazz musician Doc Cheatham. The trumpeter will perform as part of the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s free outdoor summer series.

Doo-wop band Time Was will perform at the park as part of the Central Astoria Local Development Coalition’s weekly outdoor concert series.

New York Classical Theatre present’s Shakespeare’s "Measure for Measure"

Where: The Battery (Battery Park at Castle Clinton), Downtown
When: 7 to 9 p.m.

New York Classical Theatre performs Shakespeare’s "Measure for Measure" in The Battery, as viewers follow the lively actors through the park. The event is free.
