CHELSEA — You're going to need a bigger pair of chopsticks.
Uma Temakeria on Seventh Avenue and West 14th Street has debuted a sushi burrito — a nori-wrapped burrito filled with raw fish or veggies — challenging maki roll lovers everywhere to up their game.
While the West Coast has known the sushi burrito for years, Uma Temakeria claims to be "the first sushi burrito in NYC," according to spokeswoman Rachel Van Dolsen.
The Classic Uma-ritto, which features salmon, tuna, tobanjan mayo, cucumber and is filled with fresh crab, salmon, apple, pickled rhubarb, cucumber, wasabi-ginger and crunch, costs $10.
The vegan Summer-Ito contains seaweed salad, pickled rhubarb, carrot, cucumber, wasabi peas and a zesty citrus dressing and costs $10.
And the O-Maki burrito, which costs $12, has fresh crab, salmon, apple, pickled rhubarb, cucumber, wasabi-ginger & crunch.
Uma Temakeria also serves a host of sides and sake, beer and sake cocktails.
