SUNSET PARK — Time Inc. has signed a long-term lease at Industry City and plans to move hundreds of employees from three departments to the Brooklyn complex, the company announced Thursday.

More than 300 employees from the technology, content solutions and editorial innovations departments will move to the 55,000-square-foot space at the end of the year, according to a press release.

Time is also in the process of moving into its new Liberty Street headquarters in Lower Manhattan from the Time & Life Building in Midtown, where it has been located for decades.

The New York Post reported last month that Time was in negotiations for the Sunset Park work space, which will also welcome employees' dogs.

Industry City is a massive complex of historic converted warehouses on the Brooklyn waterfront. Last year, the Brooklyn Nets announced that their $45 million training center was set to open at Industry City as well.
