VIDEO: Thieves Steal $2K in Cash and Headphones from 99-Cent Store

CONCOURSE — A pair of thieves broke into a 99-cent store and stole thousands of dollars in cash and headphones, according to the NYPD.

The burglars forced their way into the store by lifting up its roll down gate and breaking the front door's glass, police said.

One suspect acted as a lookout, and the other entered the store, located at 1027 Walton Ave. in the 44th Precinct, to steal $2,849 worth of cash and headphones, according to police.

Video shows the suspects hanging around outside the store and lifting up the roll down gate.

The first suspect is described as a man of medium build wearing a baseball hat, hoodie, jeans and sneakers, while the second is described as a bearded bald man of slim build wearing shorts, police said.
