FINANCIAL DISTRICT — An NYPD traffic agent was repeatedly punched in the face by a man who'd been given a parking ticket, police said.

The agent had placed a parking ticket on 30-year-old Idarie Forde's truck at about 12:50 p.m. on June 24 for being in a no-standing zone, according to police.

Forde got out of his truck, parked outside of 52 Beaver St., when he saw the 23-year-old agent and proceeded to punch him in the face at least three times, according to a police report.  The agent suffered swelling and scratches to his face and arms.

Forde was arrested and charged with second degree assault. He's was released on $500 bail, records show. He's due back in court on Sept. 21.

Forde's Legal Aid lawyer declined to comment.
